Keep Going

My old friend Winston Churchill was reported to once say, "If you're going through hell, keep going." Not that school is "hell" per se, but some days it just feels like the rug slips ever further from the grasps of your tiny toes. When your attempts at bucking the system or making the world, your colleagues, and maybe yourself a better person falter, you just have to keep going. Making personal leaps and expecting judicious treatment and realizing that your're surrounded by pettiness and a lack of content-driven opinions, you have to keep going. Keep going, even when no one else is watching.

I do wish I was friends with him (Winston, the Glowworm), not when he was drunk though.
